With lots of past experience of marketing for charity clients, we're delighted to be part of the Charity Road Trips marketing team - and to be helping Ashley's vision of a charity with a difference, to become reality!
The new Charity Road Trips website we've created focuses on EuroRally 33 - a unique road based adventure trip to Rome. Funds will be raised by teams of 3 competing for prizes and at the same time raising money for Children in Need and Hampshire & Dorset charities: Simon Says, Wessex Autistic Society, Diverse Abilities, Round Table Childrens Wish, and Poole Hospital Charity. The charity and the event are being sponsored by Nite Watches in Christchurch, Lymington based Voltz Energy Drinks, Regatta outdoor wear, and Sign Sense of Poole - plus a number of other companies supporting the event itself.
The design challenge for the website branding, was to incorporate the powerful event logo within a new branding for the charity - a fresh looking look and feel to communicate the joint aims of fundraising and adventure.
The communications challenge was even greater - the website www.charityroadtrips.org features the call up to join the trip with the necessary registration information, the beneficiary charities and corporate sponsors, links to a blog, satellite technology to keep track of the journey, videos submitted by the competing teams, a countdown clock to the start and of course the obligatory social media sites. But we've tried to keep the site structure streamlined and straightforward - so everybody can see where they need to look!
